It is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. The trek starts from 930 m (Ngadi) then the altitude gradually increases to 5416 m (Thorangla Pass).
Chame, Muktinath, Tukucke, and Ghorepani are well known villages in the region.
The trail climbs continuously up to Thorang - La (5416 m) and then descends regularly until the end except from Tatopani to Ghorepani.
The interest of this hike is to discover several high mountains as well as multi ethnic and multi cultural diversity which is a real specificity to both parts of the valley.
