Trekking at Annapurna Base Camp
It is a very popular trek in the heart of the mountains in Nepal. The trek begins at about 1100 meters.
Then the altitude gradually rises up to 3700 meters at Machhapuchhare base camp and up to 4110 meters at the bottom base camp of Annapurna.
Ghorepani, Landruk, Ghandruk and Chhomrong are the main villages, inhabited by the Gurungs and Magar, the ethnic group most often met during the trek. The trails go up and down most of the time during this trek. The interest of this trek is to discover several high peaks, very hospitable populations with their cultures and traditions.
