 This region is located at the far east of Nepal under the Sikkim border of India to the east and Tibet to the north. The altitude varies between 1200 m to 8586 m (Mt. Kanchanjanga) which is the third highest peak in the world. These are various climatic zones from subtropical to alpine, with a unique biodiversity and particularly rich.

This region receives good rainfall from May to September which results in a good river system, fueled by snowmelt. The main rivers are Tamor, Gunsa, Simbuwa and Kabeli.

The main vegetation of this region includes: Larix griffithiana, junipers, 46 types of orchids and 137 types of non-wood forest products. With regard to wildlife we ??can find about 22 species of mammals, including the Himalayan Thars (goat), musk deer, snow leopards, blue sheep etc.

The main occupation of the local population is agriculture and livestock, where there are some facilities for improving health and education.

Day 5. Mamanke - Yamphudin (1692 m)

Day 6. Yamphudin - Chitre (2925 m)  

Day 7. Chitre - Torongten (2980 m)

Day 8. Torongten - Tseram (3868 m)

Day 9. Tseram - Selele Kharka (3400 m)

Day 10. Selele Kharka - Ghunsa (3415 m)

Day 11. Rest day in Ghunsa

Day 12. Ghunsa - Khambachen (4145 m)

Day 13. Khambachen - Lhonak (4792 m)




Day 14. Lhonak - Pangpema (5140 m)

Day 15. Pangpema - Ascent to Kanchanjanga base camp then return to Lhonak 4792m

Day 16. Lhonak - Khambachen 4145 m.

Day 17. Khambachen - Ghunsa 3415 m

Day 18. Ghunsa - Gyapla (2725 m)  

Day 19. Gyapla - Amjilapsa (2498 m)  

Day 20. Amjilapsa - Lelep (1850 m)  

Day 21. Lelep - Chiruwa (1185 m)

Day 22. Chiruwa - Phurambu (1650 m)  

Day 23. Phurambu - Suketar (2420 m)   

Day 24. Suketar - flight to Biratnagar and then to Kathmandu
